We conducted viewings evenings and weekends to accommodate full-time working buyers. After several on the market, we received an offer for full asking price subject to surveys. A quick 28-day sale ensued. While we naturally felt sentimental leaving the cottage we restored, it afforded joy seeing another family appreciate her charms. The sale proceeds allowed our own upsize to a period farmhouse on acreage with room to grow. Occasionally we drive by, smiling inwardly at our chapters there that started our rural life adventures.
