I have been browsing listings for Poynton bungalows for sale in more rural parts of Stockport and have found some . It seems like a lot of the older folks who lived in these places for decades are finally looking to downsize. What a great opportunity for city folk like me looking to escape to the quiet life. Can you imagine sipping your morning tea on a porch, surrounded by rolling green hills as far as the eye can see. One place that really caught my attention is a 3 bedroom bungalow outside a tiny village called , about an hour Stockport. It's situated on a couple acres of land, so you'd have loads of privacy. The photos show it's been well maintained over the years too, with fresh paint and updates to the kitchen and bath. I love that it has loads of charm with features like wood-beamed ceilings but is also move-in ready. The Poynton price seems reasonable too at just under. Stockport itself is absolutely charming the definition of a sleepy English hamlet. It has a lovely old church, a classic Stockport country pub, and beautiful gardens you can wander. Being within an hour of the city is also a big selling point. You're close enough to pop down for a show or dinner in Poynton but can escape the bustle the rest of the time. I'm seriously considering viewing this place in person soon. Fingers crossed it's as wonderful as the photos!
