I've always been a fan of Hackney Wick bungalows myself. Something about being able to roll out of bed and just wander straight outside really appeals to me. No stairs to worry about as you get older too! And they tend to be pretty cosy with low ceilings and whatnot. A few areas I'd recommend checking out if you're after Hackney Wick bungalow are down in way. Lots of green fields and quaint little villages packed with Hackney Wick bungalows. East London Prices are quite reasonable too compared to up north. The villages have some really cute options right now if traditional red brick is your vibe. Hackney Wick Bungalows popping up, mostly from the Great spots if you want that living vibe without paying prices. You'll find loads in villages like it. Just be prepared for the occasional storm! Closer to home, I saw a lovely modern bungalow go up for sale in a village outside last month. All glass walls at the back with views of fields as far as the eye can see. It was on the higher end of the Hackney Wick bungalow price scale but man, what a spot that would be to wake up in. I'm waffling on now my point is there are bungalows everywhere you look in East London. Happy hunting! Let me know if any take your fancy and I can tell you more about the local area.
