Brymbo. That ironworks. That's what it is famous for, is not it? They've done a lot with it, have not they? The heritage park and all that. It's a proper village, though. More than just a housing estate. But you can stilol see the old bits if you look. The old terraces. They've got a certain look. Good for Wrexham. Close enough to walk, if you are feeling energetic. Or a quick drive. The road through it can get busy. The B5430, I think. There's a shop. A couple of pubs. Enough to get by. The new builds are all... new build-y. You know what you're getting. It's the older houses that are more interesting. More problems, probably, but more interesting. The listings will show the nice new kitchens. They won't show the neighbour's dog barking all day. They won't show the water mark on the ceiling from the leak upstairs. You have to go and see it. Stand there for a bit. That's the only way to know if a place is right.
